A mid-face lift, also known as the “72-hour” face lift, has the same ending effect as a standard face lift, but instead it allows you to target those specific areas without the rest of your face being affected.  It resolves the wrinkle(s) in the face without looking overstretched. It has the same ending effect as a regular lift face lift, but the procedure is different.

Who is a good candidate?

• Anyone who is good physical condition and does not smoke.
• Anyone with average facial imperfections in their 30's-50's. 
• Anyone who does not have large amounts of sagging skin.

How It Is Done: The fat cushions in the cheeks are raised by sutures, providing the look of higher cheek bones between the cheek and mouth. It is meant for the lower eye-lids and cheeks. During your consultation, Dr. Diana will be able to discuss with you the length and pattern that will be used for the incision(s).  The reason it is given the name “72-hour” face lift is because people can return to work in 3 days, although most people take a week off of work.

Recovery: Patients return to work in a few days to a week. The incisions will diminish over time, and are well covered or hidden within your hair or natural contours of your face. Results are gradual with time, as it does take awhile for the bruising and swelling to go away.
