A significant amount of tissue is removed in this process. The "mini tummy tuck" is a more limited procedure which addresses only the lower abdomen. Some additional fat tissue may be removed from flanks and upper abdomen by liposuction during the same operating session.

Recovery:  After your Tummy Tuck you can expect to return to work within a few days to a week, but must avoid strenuous activity for a month.

• Can be combined with other surgeries, such as liposuction and hysterectomy.
• Will give you a firm, contoured abdomen.
• Gives you a result that gets better over time. The effect of this operation is dramatic, with a significant change immediately apparent and gradual improvement over the 6-8 weeks after surgery.
